Touted as Australias worst disaster, the Victorian bushfires have caused death and destruction never seen before in this country.

In true Australian (and global) community spirit, donations have flooded in for this appeal, and the Red Cross has already raised over 40 million dollars, and it's hope that donations will continue to flow.

The 2009 Victorian Bushfire Fund has been setup to assist individuals and communities affected by devastating bushfires in Victoria, and was launched by the Premier John Brumby in partnership with Red Cross and the Federal Government.
