Celebrating 30 years since the release of Star Wars in Japan, Tokyo, ToysRus are about to present the 2008 Star Wars Celebration Japan, at the Makuhari - Messe Convention Center, Chiba City.

The celebration runs over three days from July 19 - 21 2008 and promises to be massive, you can meet Mark Hamill (luke SkyWalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), with Live Entretainment, Collecatables and fan stage, the Celebration store (including limited-edition's and exclusives), Japan Art Show, Star Wars sets, Photo Stations (ever wanted to ride in a snowspeeder?), Costume contests, Fan panels and more.

Exhibitors include Mimoco (with their exclusive range of Star Wars usb memory cards), Lego, Nikko, Tomy, Hakurai Toys, Kotobukiya and more. It'll be a good chance to keep your eye out for the Star Wars Kubrick Series 2 – 6 piece collectors set. (I've already got my order in from my JP mates =)
