Supported by the Media Development Authority,  in conjunction with the first Singapore Toy & Comic Convention 2008, the organizer PI Events is holding the Mikoishi Animation Competition for all Singaporeans and residents with a passion for animation.

All you have to do is develop a short 2D animation clip using the characters from Mikoishi’s soon to be released Nintendo DS game, “Dropcast”.

There are 2 categories for the competition, which means ANYONE can enter... well, so long as you are from Singapore... Lah.

1. Open Category
   - Open to media professionals, designers, multimedia specialists, animation enthusiasts, design houses, production houses, animation studios.
   - Minimum duration: 30 seconds
2. Student Category
   - Open to media schools, polytechnics, private institutions, tertiary & secondary school students
   - Minimum duration: 15 seconds

With HUGE cash prizes, not to mention  total bragging rights, this really is one competition not to miss, and with the upcoming game release, it's sure to be a huge hit with those who love a little dark humour targeted at tweens.
