Creators of cool, Medicom are having a Toy Exhibition next Saturday (June 21 2008) at the Parco Art Factory in Shibuya Japan. There are some amazing exclusives to be released including Star Wars Kubrick Series 2 – 6 piece collectors set, Golden Idol Be@rbrick 400%, and more.
From the collection to be exhibited, my favourite has got to be the old school styled Star Wars Kubricks. I've got about 14 packeted originals (circa 1977-1981), 26 Star Wars Saga (2006 re-release of the original) and a 400% Boba Fett Kubrick, but these are going to go "straight to the pool room" to take pride in my cabinet.
In time for the marketing bandwagon, the Speed Racer Be@rbrick's (twin pack) look pretty cool, as does the Indiana Jones Golden Idol, and I have to agree with the guys from Vinyl Pulse, the 400% layered wood Be@rbrick is absolutely stunning.
