I just picked up the latest issues of Juxtapoz, Giant Robot, and one that's new to me, Dangerous Ink.

Dangerous Ink #4
Boasting to be the UK's only lo-brow art magazine, Dangerous Ink has been around for a full year now. This issue has got interviews with Ray Caesar, Joe Matt and Thomas Ott, as well as a cool feature on Paul Robertsons (link possibly nsfw) Kings of Power 4 Billion % animated film. You can check out the trailer on Youtube, but I have to say it looks amazing (as I'm sure anyone who loves video games and anime will agree). Previous issues have had features with Chet Zar (if you're a fan of Tool you'll know this guy's work), Bob Dob, Bruce Campbell, Liz McGrath and Todd Schorr. You can pick up back issues at their online shop, or check out your local Borders for the most recent issue. They have a stockist details on their site, so if you're outside the UK you can see where you can pick this awesome mag up.
Juxtapoz July '08
I'm a little late picking this one up (the August issue is due any minute!), but it's got some excellent features. There's a great piece on Audrey Kawasaki as well as features on Miss Van + HVW8, N8 Van Dyke, plus the usual score of designer toy news and what's up in the world of lo-brow.
Giant Robot 54
The amazing James Jean's art graces this issues cover and an interview inside. There's also an interview with Noboru Iguchi, the director of The Machine Girl (don't watch that trailer at work! I picked up the DVD a few weeks ago and it is awesome!), a feature on contemporary Chinese art, plus all the latest on asian culture, film and designer toys.
