Archetoy is the first website/business named after this word that deals with designer toys. It just seemed right =)
Designer Toys' incorporates Urban Vinyl, Plastic and Plush. Urban Vinyl can be traced back to 1997, and is widely attributed to Michael_Lau an artist from Hong Kong.
On a trip from England in 2006, Ben met Ryan in Perth, Western Australia through a relative. Realizing they were both geeks and lovers of designer toys, the ideas were formed, and the base model for Archetoy was conceived. The idea to create a website that catered for users needs became the starting point. There were already hundreds of online toy shops, but none that actually catered to the members. This is where Archetoy steps in, delivering interviews, blogs, products, reviews, galleries and more. Members can create their own custom pages, interact with other members, earn points, get rewards, and join in on almost any part of the website.
